Denial again, maybe??

First of all, work has been hella busy. Right in the thick of busy season. Apologies for the delay. Single, on a single income folks.

Okay, where were we. Oh yea, it was actually sinking in. He really, actually did this to me!  Of course he wouldn’t admit it. That means taking accountability for actions. Of all people, his mother subconsciously gave me strength. She went through the same thing with his Dad and she was very vocal about it, and the things she did.

Okay, sorry, back on track. I know the difference in hope vs denial now.  Looking back I was hopeful life would go back to roses and rainbows, even though he did it.

However, I started sticking up for myself. I would start to catch him in lies, and confronted him each time I did. He programmed her phone number under his bosses name. So when the phone rang he “had” to answer. I saw his watch when the call came in and it was the last 4 digits of her #. We would be at dinner and he had the reflection of his phone screen in his glasses and tell me he wasn’t texting.

I answered his phone one time when she called. And I wanted to know why she was calling him. She asked why I was answering his phone. Ummm, because I am his fiancé and we live together. I went upstairs, woke him up. Threw the phone at him and said. . . .your girlfriend called.

I went as far as group texting the 2 of them and saying, since ya’ll can’t stay away from each other he’s gonna come stay with you for awhile. She never responded cause he told her not too. She was too afraid to go against him.

I did that a few times, pretty much kicking him out of the house. Then I got in contact with her 1 on 1. She agreed to meet me.
