Meeting

Let me start by saying. I have no idea what I’m doing with this website. It is generic af, and I’m doing the best I can while working 6 days a week.

I want to share my story with others to let them know they can persevere through obstacles and heartbreak. Okay on to it.

So, I text this broad up and I’m like hey, do you want to meet me and we can chat? I need you to not tell him you’re meeting up with me though, and we will meet in a public location.

So, we meet at a Starbucks. Side note: I am a lil jelly of Starbucks employees. I imagine they could write a whole book on the people that meet up. Anyway, I digress. She’s there first. I can tell she had been previously crying. She was half shaking. She makes a comment to me about the vehicle I was driving, stating oh I thought you had a blue one. Ummmm excuse me, you know about me? What are you doing if you know about me?!?!?

Let me step back and put it in perspective. She was 29, I was 38, and dickbag was 48. So, I gave grace. Was probably a hard pill to swallow that you’ve been dating a man for 5 years that has a fiance he’s been with for 16 years. The math is messy.

Her phone was going off non-stop. She said she had to answer it because it was a friend or family member checking on her. Making sure she wasn’t getting her ass beat or shanked. Again, I gave grace. I was actually quite proud of myself.

We pretty much exchanged phones and scrolled through text messages he sent us. I asked for her to send me over the screenshots of messages and she did. She stated he had her quit her job and he was going to take care of her. Tbh I think her work schedule was interfering with the their rendezvous. He would go out of town and she would tag along. By the end of the conversation she seemed disgusted and pretty much done with him.

I got home before him and casually mentioned to him that I met with ___ today. Ha ha the look on his face. . . .priceless. I don’t remember if that was the first time I kicked him out or not. Cause I did multiple times. Then I called his mother and told her that she needed to call her son and check on him because I kicked him out.

Apparently during all of this the mistress told him that she wanted her house key back. There were arrangements made that he dropped it off and someone picked it up.  Mind you, he never once owned up to it. Always denied it. A grown ass 48 yo man denied it to my face multiple times.

Well, she still proved young and dumb because it didn’t take long for her to quit talking to me because he told her if she just didn’t answer and blocked me on everything they could live every fairy tale she’s ever imagined. I’m imagining the loud obnoxious buzzer sound.

Even better is she told me the D was trash. My response: I know right. I made sure I told him that right before I kicked him out that day.

As I sit in my quiet house with my 3 dogs I have no idea what is happening in with my life. How could I have been so stupid and naive.
